The meeting of the Organizing committee of the forum "Medical Diagnostics-2022" and Congress "Radiology-2022"

On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the meeting of the Organizing committee of the Forum “Medical Diagnostics 2022” and the National Congress “Radiology 2022” was held remotely. The XVI Russian National Congress "Radiology-2022" will be traditionally held at the Crocus Expo IEC from 24 to 26 May 2022.

According to the Chairman of the Program and Scientific Editorial Committee, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor N.S. Serova, preliminary programs of plenary sessions and schools are actively received. All members of the program committee and moderators of the meetings must submit the final versions of the programs by the end of January. The preliminary version of the Congress core will be presented on the official website in the near future.

By decision of the President of the Congress, Professor V.Yu. Usov, one of the main topics of the Radiology-2022 congress will be the issues of cardiac diagnostics. Diagnostic issues for COVID-19 will also be covered, including post-COVID changes in various organs and systems. Of course, the other important areas of medical imaging will be included, such as: diagnostics in oncology, traumathology and orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, abdominal radiology, diagnostics of diseases of the head and neck organs, the structure and teaching of our specialty.

There was a discussion of the presenting issues of a nominal honorary badge named after Professor Yu.N. Sokolov, a certificate of honor from the Russian National Congress, as well as the award for young scientists named after Yu.N. Sokolov for the best work on radiology. It was decided to leave the age limits for young scientists (up to 30 years) unchanged. D.V. Ustyuzhanin is responsible for this area.

Abstracts and posters continue to be actively sent to the official address of the Congress. Applications for the publication of abstracts will be held until March 1, 2022.

The next meeting of the Organizing committee is scheduled for February 2022 online, the date of the meeting will be announced to the members of the Organizing committee later.
